【NoCode】The future without programming-the difference between no code and low code!

I have come to understand “no code” for a long time, but I am struggling because new words will appear again as the learning depth deepens. This is the basis of learning!

Since the word “low code” appeared for “no code“, I tweeted as follows.

That’s exactly what the title says, but when I researched about “no code”, the word “low code” also appeared and I am a bit troubled. I explained “What is no code? (1)” and “What is no code? (2)” about no-code, so I think that he understood “somehow”.

And yesterday, [NoCode] Information is released with the content of the arrival of the future where programming is unnecessary-5 standard tools of “no code”.

I would be happy if you read these as well.

Here, I will continue to talk about “What is low code?

Simply put, “low code” means less code, that is, less code to program.
How low is it? It seems that you can hear the voice, but it is a little complicated, but it is like this.

The “no code” I think of is a world without complete programming.

On the other hand, “low code” is a world where even technically difficult things can be created by programming a little.

One of the thoughts I made about the no-code and low-code is that the definition is very vague.

After all, the definition of the word no code doesn’t seem to be well organized because these are new words.
Therefore, it is a bit ambiguous, so I think that it is not necessary to understand that much.

So, let’s gather information from the world and try to get closer to what is called a “definition.”

No-code: “Technology that allows you to create apps and services without writing code.” There is no clear definition, but it is often used in the above meaning.

Also, the concept of this no-code itself is not new at all. There are many services such as “Wix” that allow you to create websites without writing code.

BLOG’s “WordPress” that I do is broadly uncoded.

From the conclusion, what is great about No Code is that it is revolutionary that you can take on a new business with low risk because the development cost of the product is drastically reduced.

Low code: Low code is an IT tool that meets the needs of increasing business speed.

Low code is an IT tool for speeding software development without writing source code or with minimal source code, and in 2014 this word began to be used by Forrester as a category for classifying software. It was.

Low code is highly extensible and has a wide range of integration functions with other software, so it considers a wide range of system environments.

When I interpret these two words properly, I think I understand something.
If possible, I recommend that you actually read what a little more people explain!

If I explain it in an easy-to-understand manner, I think that there are few low codes, and my understanding is that WordPress and Stripe are low codes for the time being.

Perhaps if you know WordPress, you may think “WordPress is programming?”, but WordPress is originally a system that makes it easy to create a blog. To be precise, it’s called CMS, but it’s also low code if you say something like this.

However, customizing WordPress requires programming.

If you use it by default, no programming is required. That’s why it’s low code.

After that, “Stripe” is a payment tool. Please see this site for how it is used. This is the EC site of Manabu, the No.1 blogger in Japan.

Manabu can pay for the items he sells here at the “Manablog store“.

For example, Manablog Copy sells WordPress themes. When you go to this page, if you press this red button of “Click here to purchase this theme”, “Please wait” is displayed and then the page moves.

With this kind of feeling, it will be a billing page of 6980 yen, and you can purchase it by entering card information etc. here.

How do these two are made? The above page is made with WordPress, and the payment page is made with Stripe (with Powered by stripe credit).

With this kind of feeling, I basically built this EC site and EC system by myself, but when asked if I programmed, “I haven’t done this.” That’s why I think that my site itself is no code.

So, in fact, many people doing BLOG etc. build their own sites and do business, so it is more or less small, and already using the title “no code” or “low code” I can understand that.

In the middle of this article, I wrote the same thing in the phrase that I tried on “Definition”, so from now on, I don’t think of these two as “Unknown”, “Unused” and “Difficult”. I want to!

Because everyone uses “no code and low code” without knowing it!

Thank you for reading to the end today.
I would be happy if this information could be useful to you.

Now that I’ve got a little inspiration, I’ll learn and report for the future “No Code Practice”.
See you again! Ciao☆彡
